San Diego Sockers News Release
SAN DIEGO (Monday, January 15, 2018 - MVH10) - The San Diego Sockers defeated the Tacoma Stars 8-3 on Friday night before 3,395 (the largest crowd of the season) to remain unbeaten at 10-0. San Diego was led by Brandon Escoto's hat trick, and Chris Toth made six saves in goal for the win. The Sockers now face a daunting challenge with three games in four days beginning in Ontario on Thursday.
The team will play the Fury before traveling to Mexico to play their nemesis Sonora on Saturday night; they will then return home on Sunday, 5:05 p.m., to meet Ontario at Valley View Casino Center. The contest will be First Responders Night, all first responders who are in uniform or show ID at the box office on game day will receive 50% off!
