San Diego Gulls Announce Roster Addition

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed defenseman Keaton Thompson to an amateur tryout agreement (ATO).

Thompson, 20 (9/14/95), scored 2-15=17 points with a +21 rating and 36 penalty minutes (PIM) in 43 games with the North Dakota Fighting Hawks (NCHC) this season and led his team to the 2015-16 NCAA National Championship. The Devils Lake, ND native tallied two assists (0-2=2) in four NCAA tournament games. Over three seasons with North Dakota, Thompson captured two NCHC regular season championships, scoring 8-28=36 points with a +43 rating in 105 games played.
