SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reached a partnership agreement with Military Ticket Program (MTP). The Gulls are dedicated to honoring and supporting San Diego's military members, their families and military retirees.

"We are thrilled to partner with MTP and offer the military members in our local community an affordable source of live, professional sports entertainment," said Ari Segal, President of Business Operations. "The Gulls are pleased to announce the partnership with MTP on Memorial Day weekend as a way to honor the sacrifices of our nation's military service members and their families. We are excited to see service members and their families at Gulls games next season and beyond."

As part of the agreement, military personnel, their families and retirees will have the opportunity to purchase ticket vouchers at all military instillation ticketing offices in the local San Diego area, starting in September. Vouchers will be priced at $12 for Upper Bowl tickets and $25 for Lower Bowl tickets, and are redeemable at the Valley View Casino Center box office. The voucher holder will receive the best available seat at the time the voucher is redeemed, giving military personnel and their families the best seats to home games of their choosing at the most affordable price.

"MTP is excited to partner with the Gulls to bring high quality hockey to our men and women in uniform," said Audre Spencer, Military Ticket Program Manager. "I am personally excited about the Gulls' return to San Diego and that they are honoring our Active Duty, Retired, Reservist services members and their families."
