
San Antonio Shut out 3-0 by San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The San Antonio Rampage (27-22-7-0) played a tight game through the first two periods, but ultimately fell 3-0 to the San Diego Gulls (29-19-1-0) on Tuesday at the Valley View Casino Center.
The Gulls were the first to sound the horn with 26 seconds remaining in the opening frame when Corey Tropp cleaned up a loose puck in front of Rampage netminder Ville Husso for a 1-0 lead.
After a scoreless second period, San Diego extended its lead to two when Kalle Kossila's wrister from the slot found the back of the cage 15 seconds into the final frame. Kevin Roy added a third Gulls goal at 7:24 when he beat Husso stick side to secure a 3-0 San Diego victory.
