
San Antonio Rampage Call Up Frank Littlejohn

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that right wing Frank Littlejohn has been called up by the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
San Antonio is the fifth AHL team to call up Littlejohn during his career. In past seasons has been called up to the AHL by four other teams: Rochester Americans, Springfield Falcons, Albany River Rats and Cleveland Barons. In 14 career AHL games played he has 2 points (0 goals, 2 assists) and 21 penalty minutes.
In 50 games for Elmira this season Littlejohn has 42 points (28 goals, 14 assists) and he leads the Jackals in goal (28), power play goals (11), short-handed goals (7) and game-winning goals (4). Littlejohn leads the UHL in short-handed goals (7), he scored his 200th career UHL goal on 1/26/07 at Wings Stadium against Kalamazoo and he played in his 500th career pro game on 11/22/06 at First Arena against Chicago.
"Frank has been working very hard and deserves this call up to the American Hockey League," said Jackals General Manager Robbie S. Nichols. "San Antonio is looking for someone to add speed and energy to their lineup and I am sure that they will get that in Frank Littlejohn."
Littlejohn will join San Antonio Wednesday morning for their morning skate in Rochester, NY. The Rampage will face off with the Rochester Americans at 7:05 pm Wednesday night, February 21st, at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester.
The Jackals will begin a 5-game home stand on Friday, February 23rd as they host the Rockford IceHogs for GLN Tax & Payroll Rally Towel Giveaway Night, the first of a three-game series at First Arena; game time is scheduled for 7:35 pm.
