
UHL concludes semi-annual meeting

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) Board of Governors met yesterday in Detroit, MI, to finish their semi-annual meeting. The following information details what transpired during the meeting:
A search committee has been formed to find the replacement for Richard Brosal, outgoing UHL CEO/President.
The 2007-08 regular season will begin on Friday, October 19 and conclude on Sunday, April 6. The length of the season will be 171 days. Each team will play 76 games during the regular season, 38 at home and 38 on the road.
There will not be a 2008 All-Star Game
The 2007 Annual Meeting will take place June 18-21.
All on-ice rules will remain the same at this point.
"Although the league is in search for my replacement, it is business as usual as we conclude our 16th season of business at the United Hockey League. I look forward to working with the Board of Governors in the final months heading up to my presentation of the Colonial Cup in mid-May," stated Richard Brosal, UHL CEO/President.
