
San Antonio FC Signs Lamar Batista for Remainder of 2023 Season

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC has signed defender Lamar Batista for the remainder of the 2023 season, pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Batista previously signed a 25-day contract with the team on March 9.
Batista has started and played the full 90 minutes in both of SAFC's first two matches in 2023, scoring twice and assisting once. For his efforts, Batista has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week both weeks to start the season.
San Antonio FC is on the road this weekend, traveling to play Monterey Bay F.C. on Saturday, April 1. The match will be broadcast on ESPN+, and kicks off at 9:00 p.m. CT.
