San Antonio FC Lands Three on USL Championship Team of the Week

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC defender Fabien Garcia and Shannon Gomez, as well as midfielder Rida Zouhir have been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week. The trio of SAFC representatives come just a week after the team saw four players named to the list last week.
Midfielder Rida Zouhir recorded his first professional brace in Wednesday's 2-1 come-from-behind win at El Paso. The MLS loanee completed three of four passes as well, creating three chances on his way to a second Team of the Week appearance this season.
Defender Fabien Garcia made his third appearance on the Team of the Week this season, winning five of five duels and three of four tackles, blocking a pair of shots and making three interceptions.
Defender Shannon Gomez made his first appearance on the Team of the Week, assisting on Zouhir's game-winning goal.
SAFC is at home this weekend, hosting The Miami FC at Toyota Field. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. CT, with tickets available at SanAntonioFC.com or the SAFC app. The match will also be broadcast locally on Bally Sports Southwest, or locally on ESPN+.
