Trey Muse Selected to Week 19 USLC Team of the Week

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The USL Championship announced Tuesday that Battery goalkeeper Trey Muse was named to the league's Week 19 Team of the Week.
Muse turned in impressive performances across both of Charleston's road matches in Week 19. The shot-stopper tallied seven total saves against Indy Eleven and Miami FC, including a crucial penalty save in the Miami game. Muse handled the aggressive opposition well, conceding only twice on a 4.02xGA mark to help the Battery earn the draws away from home.
The selection is Muse's third of the season, adding to his honors in Week 9 and Week 12, when he was also named Player of the Week.
Head Coach Ben Pirmann congratulated Muse on earning the award.
"Trey has been an outstanding presence for us all season, we wouldn't be where we are so far this season without him," said Coach Pirmann. "We are always excited for players to earn individual accolades.
"Trey has been very consistent and, when the team has needed him most, he has stepped up to make big plays. He has saved two penalties so far to help us earn massive road points."
The Battery will look to build upon their three-match unbeaten run in their next match, on Sat., July 22, against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at Patriots Point. Tickets for the home game is available now via SeatGeek.com, the Battery's exclusive digital ticketing provider.
