Moncton Wildcats News Release
MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats have traded defencemen Sam McKinney to the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2023 QMJHL Entry Draft.
Sam joined the team at the Christmas trade period of the 2020-2021 season, having played 15 games with the Titan before making the move to Moncton, Sam unfortunately was only in the lineup with the Wildcats for 6 games before suffering a season ending injury. Although with the team a short time, Sam made a big impact both on and off the ice and we wish him nothing but the best with Chicioutimi.
