Lincoln Saltdogs News Release
Tim Johnson managed the Obregon Yaquis to the Mexican Pacific League championship series, but the Culiacan Tomateros kept the Yaquis from the league title. Culiacan won the series four games to one, and completed the series with a 6-4 victory last Monday night. Obregon finished their regular season with a 39-29 record, and kept their winning ways going from there. They defeated Navojoa in round 1 of the playoffs, then finished off Mazatlan in the second round. Culiacan finished the playoffs with a 12-5 won-loss record, and advanced to the Caribbean Series in the Dominican Republic.
Saltdogs Question of the Week â Are there going to be any new food items at Haymarket Park this season?
Chef Craig Jelinek and the entire Levy Restaurants team has been busy taste-testing, working to put together an exciting menu for Haymarket Park in 2004. The staff is planning to bring back foods that fans have clamored for in the past, and also are listening to input on what new items fans would like to see at Haymarket Park. If anyone else would be all over sliced cucumbers in a fine vinegar and oil, topped with salt and pepper, please help bring this to the attention of the fine folks at Levy.

Saltdogs Front Office Profile â Lindsey Stauffer â Intern
Lindsey joined the Saltdogs front office team about a week ago, so this front office profile is as informative to me as it hopefully will be to you. She is a senior at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, and is planning to graduate in May with a sports administration degree. She feels âspecial' since she's an only child, and who am I to argue. Her goal following graduation is to assume ownership of the Denver Broncos.
