Salt Lake Bees to hold National Anthem Auditions
Published on March 2, 2009 under Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Salt Lake Bees News Release
The Salt Lake Bees are seeking performers to sing the U.S. national anthem prior to all home games. The style for the anthem is a cappella and in a traditional version with little personal musical interpretation. No exceptions please. There is no need for resumes, photos, portfolios, recordings, etc.
Those who have performed the anthem at a Bees game within the past two years do not need to audition again. Anyone interested in performing again this season, please contact Steve Klauke at sklauke@slbees.com.
All participants in the audition will be notified by phone whether they have been invited to perform the national anthem at a Salt Lake Bees game. If selected, the performer must sing the same version at the game as they performed during auditions.
