
Salt Lake Bees Open up Eight-Game Homestand on May 21

SALT LAKE CITY (May 20, 2015) - The Salt Lake Bees return to Smith's Ballpark for an eight-game homestand against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and the Oklahoma City Dodgers, beginning on Thursday, May 21, at 6:35 p.m. Below is an overview of the theme and community activities, promotions, giveaways and other events during the May 21-28 homestand.
Thursday, May 21 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 6:35 p.m.
- Thirsty Thursday with $2.75 drinks.
Friday, May 22 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 6:35 p.m.
- Jazz Bear will throw out the first pitch and entertain fans between innings.
- Postgame fireworks show presented by XO Communications.
- Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the fireworks show.
Saturday, May 23 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 6:35 p.m.
- Military Appreciation Night. All military personnel and veterans can receive a free ticket to the game with proper identification and can purchase half-price tickets for their families at the Smith's Ballpark box office.
- The Bees will wear special camouflage uniforms and hats in honor of Military Appreciation Night.
- KJZZ 14 televised broadcast.
- Mini-bat giveaway sponsored by Cyprus Credit Union.
- Postgame fireworks show sponsored by Cyprus Credit Union.
- Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the fireworks show.
Sunday, May 24 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 1:05 p.m.
- Sunday 1:05 p.m. matinee start.
Monday, May 25 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers, 6:35 p.m.
- The Bees will once again wear their special camouflage jerseys and caps for Memorial Day.
- KTUB Juan 1600 AM Spanish language broadcast.
- Mondays are Smith's Family Night which includes four hot dogs and four game tickets for $20 at Smith'sTix locations.
Tuesday, May 26 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers, 6:35 p.m.
- Kellogg's Kids Eat Free Tuesday Night. All kids 12-and-under receive a voucher for a free hot dog, drink and snack.
Wednesday, May 27 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers, 6:35 p.m.
- In advance of Bee Healthy Week, Bees players will visit Wasatch Elementary School in Salt Lake City on Wednesday morning to teach baseball fundamentals and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
- ALS Awareness Night. The Bees will share public service announcements about ALS or 'Lou Gehrig's Disease' as a part of ALS Awareness Month.
- Wednesdays are Wienerschnitzel $1 Hot Dog Night.
Thursday, May 28 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers, 12:05 p.m.
- 12:05 p.m. matinee start time.
- Fans can purchase a 'lunch at the ballpark package' that includes a game ticket, hot dog and drink for $10 at www.slbees.com or at the Smith's Ballpark box office.
- Thirsty Thursday with $2.75 drinks.
