
Zephyrs' Eight-Game Homestand Opens Thursday

Metairie, LA - After splitting four games in Nashville, the Zephyrs return home to begin cross-conference play against Pacific Southern Division opponents El Paso and Albuquerque.
The Zephyrs own the Pacific Coast League's lowest team-ERA at 2.93 and have allowed only 27 earned runs in their last 11 games. Jose Urena leads the PCL with a 1.21 ERA and is 4-0 this year, while left-hander Justin Nicolino ranks fifth in the PCL in ERA (2.09) and innings pitched (47.1). Meanwhile, the Zephyrs bullpen has yielded only six earned runs over its last 39.1 innings, with Grant Dayton leading the way. Dayton has held opponents to a .143 average, third-best in the PCL, and has only yielded 12 baserunners all season, which ranks second in the league.

Thursday 7 PM: LHP Pat Misch (2-3, 3.51) vs. RHP Zach Segovia (0-0, 0.00)
Friday 7 PM: RHP Andre Rienzo (0-3, 3.15) vs. LHP Jason Lane (3-2, 4.14)
Saturday 6 PM: LHP Justin Nicolino (3-1, 2.09) vs. RHP James Needy (3-2, 6.42)
Sunday 1 PM: RHP Jose Urena (4-0, 1.21) vs. LHP Robbie Erlin (4-2, 5.15)
On Thursday night, Zephyr Field will celebrate "St. Patrick's Day in May." Fans wearing green will receive $5 discounted admission and there will be green beer specials as part of Budweiser Thirsty Thursday. Friday is Zombie Apocalypse Night, with fans receiving $5 tickets for attending in a zombie costume. There will also be zombie facepainting on the concourse, with a postgame fireworks show presented by WWL Radio.
During Saturday's 6 p.m. game, fans can play Baseball Bingo to win prizes from Treasure Chest Casino, and after the game, the stars of midget wrestling will face off inside the squared circle. Sunday is Family Day, with $5 tickets for children, churches and military personnel. Kids can meet and take pictures with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Michelangelo, presented by Breaux Mart, and run the bases on the field after the game.
All military personnel will receive up to four free tickets, courtesy of Entergy, for Monday's Memorial Day game starting at 6 p.m. by presenting a valid military I.D. at the box office.
