
Salmon Kings Announce 2009 Training Camp Schedule

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today their 2009 Training Camp will start on Saturday, October 3rd at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
Training Camp will run from October 3rd through October 10th, and will occur exclusively at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. All on-ice sessions will be open to both the media and the general public. Admission is free. Fitness testing and all off-ice sessions are restricted to team personnel only.
"This will be the most competitive camp the Salmon Kings have had," General Manager and Head Coach Mark Morrison said.
Camp kicks off with fitness testing on the morning of the 4th, and then the action turns to the ice 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. for the first official on-ice sessions of the 2009-10 season. Scrimmages will occur on October 6, 7 and 8th from 2-3 p.m.
Presented by 100.3 The Q and The Zone @ 91.3, the Blue vs. White Inter-Squad Game will be on Friday, October 9th at 7:00 p.m.
Season tickets for the Salmon Kings 2009-10 season are on sale. The Salmon Kings kick off their home schedule on October 21st when the Bakersfield Condors come to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
