Salerno to Coach Atlantic Team in NBL All-Star Game

(Summerside, PE) The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Joe Salerno of the Summerside Storm and Michael Ray Richardson of the London Lightning have been named the Head Coaches for the 2013 NBL Canada All-Star Game.
Both coaches were selected by having the best record in the Central & Atlantic Divisions of NBL Canada this season.
Salerno coached the Summerside STORM to the Atlantic Division Championship of the NBL with a record of 26-14, more than doubling the STORM win total over last season. Coach Salerno was also selected as NBL Coach of the Month for January this season.
The NBL All-Star Weekend is being hosted this year in Saint John April 13-14 with the actual game being played at Harbour Station on Sunday April 14th at 2 pm.
The STORM are currently playing in the NBL Semi-Finals against the Windsor Express with Game 2 in the series Tuesday night in Summerside where the STORM are looking to even up the series at one game each. Game time Tuesday night is set at 7 pm with tickets on sale at the Credit Union Place Box office from 9 am until game time Tuesday.
