
Saints Warm-Up For 4th Annual 5K Run

ST. PAUL, MN (March 14, 2007) - Whether you're a weekend jogger, a competitive runner or just looking to get a little exercise the, St. Paul Saints have the perfect event: the fourth annual 5K run presented by TDS Metrocom and The Sporting Life at Midway Stadium on Sunday, April 15.
Participants young and old can lace up their track shoes and run the 3.1 miles down Energy Park Drive by either registering online at saintsbaseball.com or tslevents.com, or in person on race day at 9 a.m. The ½ and ¼ mile youth races begin at 10 a.m. with the main race starting at 10:30 a.m. Entry is $15 in advance and $20 at the door for the youth races and $25 in advance and $30 at the door for the 5K run.
"This is one of those events that is great for everyone," said Saints Executive Vice President and General Manager Derek Sharrer. "We are thrilled to partner with two wonderful organizations in an effort to benefit a great cause."
Portions of the proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities which helps directly improve the health and well-being of children.
Following, the event participants can replenish their bodies with food from Buca di Beppo. Those not participating can enjoy the meal for just $5.
