Saints' single game tickets on sale March 18

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Individual game tickets for the 2006 St. Paul Saints' home season will go on sale in person and over the phone on Saturday, March 18.

Fans will be allowed to lineup at Midway Stadium on Thursday, March 16 starting at 12:00 p.m. The team will distribute wristbands on a first come, first serve basis starting on Friday, March 17 at 5:00 p.m. The team will halt the wristband distribution at 9:00 p.m. that night. The distribution will commence again at 10:00 a.m. the next morning.

The official ticket office hours on March 18 will be from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Midway Stadium. However, the team will sell tickets that day until "everyone who comes to the ballpark has been taken care of," said Derek Sharrer, Saints' Executive Vice President-General Manager. Phone orders will also be taken on March 18 at (651) 644-6659 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

There will be doughnuts, hot dogs, coffee and soda on hand as well as music for fans waiting in line. In addition to the single game tickets, the club is currently accepting group orders for all 50 games scheduled (two pre-season, 48 regular season) at Midway Stadium. Group tickets are considered any order of 15 or more tickets for one game or any of the specialty seating areas. Mini-plans and season ticket plans are also currently on sale to anyone looking to purchase tickets for six or more games.

The Saints will also accept orders in phone and in person on Sunday, March 19 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Internet sales through the team's website (www.saintsbaseball.com) will begin Monday, March 20 at 9:00 a.m.

Tickets run from $4 (General Admission) to $10 (Reserved Seating)

There must be full payment at time of purchase

Fans can order with cash or checks and by using Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover when buying tickets at Midway Stadium. Credit card orders only on the phone at (651) 644-6659

The Saints drew 283,886 fans for 46 regular season dates last season, averaging a little over 100 per cent capacity per date. It was the second highest total attendance figure in the team's 13-year history.

The Saints start their 14th season as an organization (and their first in the revived American Association) with a preseason game Thursday, May 4 versus Sioux Falls at 11:05 a.m. at Midway Stadium. The regular season home opener is Monday, May 15 against St. Joseph at 7:05 p.m.
