
Saints game with Sioux Falls rained out

ST. PAUL, MN - The St. Paul Saints' scheduled game with Sioux Falls at Midway Stadium Thursday night was postponed due to rain and wet grounds.
The game will be made up as part of a twi-night doubleheader Friday night starting at 6:05 p.m. As per American Association rules, there will be two seven-inning games. The parking lot will open at 3:00 p.m. and Midway's gates will be open at 5:00 p.m.
St. Paul (52-41 overall) will pitch righthanders Mike Meyer (9-8, 5.08) and Charlie Ruud (7-6, 3.82). Sioux Falls will counter with lefty Sean Donlin (0-6, 5.92) and righthander Aaron Garrison (6-6, 5.10).
Fans with tickets for Thursday postponement can exchange their tickets, based on availability, for Friday's twinbill or Saturday's regular season finale against the Canaries or any 2006 post-season game the Saints will play at Midway Stadium.
