Saints Announce Training Camp Roster/Times

San Angelo Saints News Release
SAN ANGELO â San Angelo Saints Training Camp for the 2002-2003 season begins Monday, October 7th at the San Angelo Coliseum. Monday skate times are TBA depending on how long it takes to uncover the ice and get the boards set up following the WWE wrestling event Sunday night. Tuesday â Thursday, October 8-10, practice times will be 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day. The Saints' preseason game against Odessa is October 11th at 7:05 p.m. at the coliseum. Admission to the preseason game is free to season ticket holders. Anyone else who brings in three canned goods or other non-perishable food items can get a half-price ticket to the preseason game. All the food items will be donated to the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank. An intra-squad scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12th from 2-4 p.m. Practices and the scrimmage are free and open to the public.
Players invited to Saints Training Camp include forwards Jason Abel, Blake Sheane, Troy Mann, Jamie Thompson, Chris Peach, Kori Davison, Jeff Cheeseman, Jarett Metz, Mikhail Salienko, Cory Pecush, Kori Handy and Kevin McKinnon. Defensemen invited are Corri Moffat, Brad Cook, Corbie Kent, Ryan Reid, Brent Currie, Matt Frick, David Marlin, Graham Beattie, Rolf Stamniov and Sandis Girvitch. Invited goaltenders are Jamie Ronayne, Bill Ruggerio and Scott Reid. KLST anchor David Wagner is also participating in Training Camp as a defenseman.
The 2002-2003 season starts October 18th when the Saints host the El Paso Buzzards at 7:05 p.m. at the San Angelo Coliseum. Season tickets and 16-game and 10-game packs are currently available at the San Angelo Convention Center. Individual game tickets go on sale Monday, October 7th at the convention center.
