St. Paul Saints News Release
GARY, IN - A big series between the St. Paul Saints and Gary SouthShore Railcats got underway on Friday night at the U.S. Steel Yard. Unfortunately, that's all it did was get started. After the first inning, with the game scoreless, the rain came down and the tarp was put on the field. After roughly a 90-minute delay the umpires suspended the game. It will resume on Saturday night at 4:00 p.m. with the Saints batting in the top of the second inning. The game will be played as a nine inning contest. The regularly scheduled game will begin approximately 30 minutes at the conclusion of the resumed game and will be scheduled for seven innings. Both games can be heard on Alt 93.3 FM.
