Sagu, Baltimore Blast

Blast goalkeeper Sagu went 2-0 on the weekend, stopping 33 of the 42 shots he faced and allowing nine goals in his efforts to keep the 8-3 Blast in a tie for first place in the MISL. In Baltimore's 14-6 win over Milwaukee on Friday night, Sagu allowed just three goals, held the Wave scoreless for almost three full quarters and assisted Worteh Sampson's third-quarter goal. The next night in Missouri he recorded 19 saves and held the Comets scoreless for most of the first half. Sagu leads the MISL with a 4.17 goals against average, an 8.90 points against average and a .798 save percentage. A 2009-10 Second-Team All-MISL selection, Sagu was also the November MISL Goalkeeper of the Month and the December MISL Co-Goalkeeper of the Month.

About the Major Indoor Soccer League

The MISL represents the Major League of professional indoor soccer in the United States and features the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league currently has five member clubs for the 2010-11 season: the Baltimore Blast, Chicago Riot, Milwaukee Wave, Missouri Comets and the Omaha Vipers. The 2010-11 regular season began on November 12 and will end on March 13. The postseason will begin the following week and conclude at the end of the month.
