Monarchs Tie Franchise Records

After a win against the Minnesota Lynx on July 22, the Monarchs tied a franchise record for most consecutive wins with seven (July 6, 2006 - July 22, 2006). In addition, the Monarchs also tied a franchise record for consecutive wins on the road with four (July 6, 2006 - July 22, 2006). The Monarchs fell short of a breaking these franchise records with a loss against Indiana on July 25, 2006.

Eastern Conference

The Monarchs are currently 9-1 (as of 7/25/06) versus Eastern Conference teams. The Monarchs best effort against the Eastern Conference came in 1999 with a record of 10-2.

Major Improvement

Monarchs forward/center Erin Buescher has made huge improvements in her game during the 2006 season. Her improved play has other WNBA players and coach's taking notice, making her a standout candidate for the WNBA's 2006 Most Improved Award.
