
Sabrina Ionescu and Natasha Howard Represent Liberty in 2022 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game

CHICAGO - This afternoon, the New York Liberty were represented by guard Sabrina Ionescu and forward Natasha Howard in the 2022 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game where they helped Team Wilson secure a 134-112 victory.
Ionescu, a first-time WNBA All-Star, started in her debut appearance and finished the contest with 19 points, six rebounds and six assists while shooting 60.0% (6-10) from three in just 23 minutes; highlighted the second-ever four-point field goal made in WNBA All-Star history.
"Competing in my first WNBA All-Star game alongside several legends was an incredible experience that I'll never forget," said Ionescu. "We all had a blast today and I'm glad we got the win."
In her second career All-Star appearance, Natasha Howard totaled eight points and four rebounds on 42.8% (3-7) shooting from the field and 50.0% (2-4) from deep in 14 minutes of play.
"Sab and I wanted to get this win and represent the New York Liberty; to do both was a blessing," added Howard. "I'm also really grateful to have been a part of Sue and Syl's last All-Star game."
The Liberty will return to regular season action on Tuesday, July 12 when they take on the Las Vegas Aces at Barclays Center at 7 p.m. ET.
