FRESNO, CALIF. - Sounders FC 2 (2-7-2, 8 points) on Saturday dropped a 4-0 decision at Fresno FC (3-4-6, 15 points). The home team got on the board first in the 27th minute with a penalty kick goal from captain Juan Pablo Caffa and never looked back. The loss extended S2's winless stretch to five games.

Antonee Burke-Gilroy made his S2 debut after coming on for captain Ray Saari to start the second half. Jesse Daley made his first start for Seattle and played the full 90 minutes. Burke-Gilroy and Daley were signed to S2's squad from Australia on May 1, 2018.
Jemal Johnson scored twice in the second half for Fresno FC to put the game out of reach. After opening the scoring for the home team, Caffa assisted on Johnson's first goal in the 54th minute to put Fresno ahead, 3-0. Johnson put home a rebound off S2's goalkeeper Bryan Meredith in the 84th minute for the final goal of the match.
S2 returns home to Cheney Stadium in Tacoma on Sunday, June 10 for the first time since May 12. Kickoff for Sunday's contest against Oklahoma City Energy FC is slated for 1:30 p.m. PT and it can be livestreamed on ESPN+.
