Ryan Williams joins the franchise from the Portland Trail Blazers

BOISE, IDAHO (June 12, 2006) -Ryan Williams joins the Stampede for the 2006-07 season as the team's Director of Media and Public Relations. He handles all media, community, and public relations responsibilities for the NBA Development League franchise. Williams will also oversee publications, including press releases, media guide, team newsletter, and game notes.
Prior to joining the Stampede, Williams was an Account Sales Manager for the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA. While there, he sold ticket packages to various organizations and was responsible for the largest group sale in franchise history.
The 2000 graduate of the University of Iowa has extensive experience in minor league basketball, serving as Director of Operations for the Gary Steelheads of the CBA from 2002-2004.
Ryan, his wife and one year old son reside in Boise.
