The fifth year midfielder is being recognized as the winner of the Corum Players Choice Award as he demonstrated himself as being the ideal teammate and consistently put the team and others before himself. Tucker is the second winner of the Players Choice Award as Mitch Belisle formerly of the Boston Cannons won the award in its inaugural season last year.
Tucker was able to win the award over the other finalists for the who were Tommy Palasek of the Atlanta Blaze, Nick Marrocco of the Boston Cannons, Donny Moss of the Dallas Rattlers, Mikie Schlosser of the Denver Outlaws and Kevin Crowley of the New York Lizards. Each of these players were able to establish themselves as being leaders this season and continuously exemplified selfless play and dedication to their teams.
The second annual Players Choice Award winner is an alum of the University of Virginia and he was named as a USILA Third Team All-American and received two All-ACC Academic honors during his collegiate career. He was drafted with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 MLL Collegiate Draft by the Boston Cannons and joined the Atlanta Blaze for the 2016 season.
