The Pacific Coast League named Zephyrs outfielder Michael Ryan to the Triple A All-Star Team. The Triple A All-Star Game matches the PCL All-Stars against the International League All-Stars to be played on Wednesday, July 15th at PGE Park in Portland, Oregon.
Ryan, a 31 year old native of Indiana, Pennsylvania is in his 13th season of professional baseball. He has spent parts of four seasons in the Major Leagues with the Minnesota Twins.
Ryan was selected by a vote from the league's managers, general managers, and media members covering the team.
Ryan is second on the team in batting average, RBI and home runs. He is batting .316 with 7 home runs and 44 RBI.
The game will be televised live on ESPN2.
