
Rush Unveil Collectors Edition Comic Book

Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush are thrilled to unveil the very first Official Team Comic Book. Written and drawn by local Saskatoon comic artist James Zintel, the book features 24 pages of the Rush players defending their turf against evil goon villains, and also features the Original 16 Crush Dance Team members, Bruiser the Bulldog, Grandma Rush, Rush Hulk, and more!
The 3rd annual TD Superheroes Night is set to go down Saturday, March 24th on Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre in support of the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation. With Saskatchewan's very own superheroes (11-2) returning to take on the Rochester Knighthawks (6-7), the evening is expected to be action packed.
In what may be the very first comic book created for a professional sports franchise, fans are encouraged to take action and purchase this unique collector's item beginning Saturday Night as part of TD Superheroes Night. Fifty specialty marked comic books will also include a collectors edition foil cover. The comics are in addition to the other featured items including the Special Edition Superhero Jerseys, and the TD Glow Glasses. With limited copies available, the comic books will be sold for $5 with proceeds going to the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation, an initiative proudly presented by TD.

SaskTel Centre doors open at 6:00PM Saturday Night, with ball drop taking place at 7:30PM. Limited tickets still available via saskrush.com. Saskatoon comic artist James Zintel will also be in attendance Saturday night to sign the comics at the Post Game Autograph Session.
