Saskatchewan Rush News Release
Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have made a deal with the Calgary Roughnecks, acquiring a 2024 conditional pick in exchange for Josh Currier.
"On behalf of the entire Rush organization I'd like to wish Josh nothing but the best in his future on and off the floor," says general manager Derek Keenan. "Josh is just a great human being and a tremendous teammate. During his time with the Rush, he's built many off-floor friendships that I'm sure will be lifelong."
The right shot forward was drafted in the first round of the 2016 NLL Entry Draft by the Rochester Knighthawks and was later acquired by the Rush through a trade with the Philadelphia Wings in 2020. The Peterborough, Ontario product played a total of 17 games with the Rush, totalling 12 goals and 12 assists.
The Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse Club would like to thank Josh for his commitment to the organization and wish him all the best in Calgary.
