
Rush Signs Kicker Adam Hicks

July 5, 2002 - The Chicago Rush announced today that it has signed rookie kicker Adam Hicks to a contract for the rest of the 2002 season. Hicks (6-0, 185, South Dakota) will kick this weekend at Grand Rapids in place of David Cool, who was injured in Sunday's win over New York. To make room on its roster for Hicks, the Rush waived defensive specialist Damien Marzett.
After traveling to Grand Rapids Saturday, the Rush returns home to Allstate Arena for its final two regular season games Saturday, July 13 and Saturday, July 20. Fans wishing to purchase individual game tickets to either game may order by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212 or by visiting the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be purchased in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or the Allstate Arena box office.
