Rush Sign First Round Pick Tanner Thomson

Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have signed Tanner Thomson to a one year agreement.

Thomson was selected 16th overall by the Rush in the 1st Round of the 2019 NLL Draft. A product of Etobicoke, ON, the right-handed forward put up 22 points in 15 MSL games this past summer split between the Oakville Rock and Brampton Excelsiors.

Standing at 5' 10", 160 lbs, Thomson attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Thomson posted 38 points over 13 games with the Golden Eagles in 2019, leading the team in goals with 26. Thomson is the highest drafted player in Marquette history.
