Rush Send Mohr to Wichita for Futures

(Rapid City, SD) - Today, the Rapid City Rush announced the completion of a trade that will send defenseman Jarred Mohr to the Wichita Thunder in exchange for future considerations. The Rush and Thunder kick off the 2011-12 regular season with a matchup this Friday at 6:05pm MST in Wichita. The game can be heard live on Rush flagship station 100.3FM the FOX.

Mohr, 26, joined the Rush for training camp this fall after spending the last two seasons playing for the Laredo Bucks.

In two years in south Texas, Mohr appeared in 125 games, potting 16 goals and 41 assists for 57 points to go along with 108 penalty minutes.

Overall, Mohr has 297 professional games under his belt and exactly 100 points (22g, 78a) to go along with 244 penalty minutes.
