
Rush Secure Another Victory over the Mammoth

April 16: Saskatchewan Rush (9) vs. Colorado Mammoth (8)
SERIES SECURED: The Saskatchewan Rush won the season series over the Colorado Mammoth. The teams first met twice in late February. The Rush fell 12-10 on Mammoth turf and the following week took home a 10-9 OT victory at SaskTel Centre.
TRIPLE TWOS: Forwards Mark Matthews (2G, 4A), Dan Lintner (2G, 1A) and Marshall Powless. (2G) found the score sheet on numerous occasions, each notching two-goals. Powless captured his third career goal.
BETWEEN THE PIPES: Goaltender Adam Shute shut down Colorado with 23 saves and secured third star of the game.
NEXT HOME GAME: The Saskatchewan Rush will host the San Diego Seals at SaskTel Centre next Saturday. This will be the final match in the three game series, with the Seals having won the past two contests. The game will be April 23rd at SaskTel Centre starting at 7:30 p.m Saskatchewan time.
