
Rush Open The Season With An 18-6 Victory Over The Mammoth

VICTORY: The Rush earned an 18-6 victory over the defending champions, the Colorado Mammoth, at SaskTel Centre on Saturday evening.
IN THE CREASE: Goaltender Alex Buque held back nothing in net stopping 42 out of 48 shots with a 0.875 save percentage. Buque earned himself the third star of the evening.
GOALS ON GOALS ON GOALS: Four hat tricks were handed out in Saturday's battle to Robert Church (4G, 6A), Dan Lintner (4G), Marty Dinsdale (3G, 5A) and Ryan Keenan (3G, 3A). First star Mark Matthews had a 12-point night with two goals and 10 assists. Marshall Powless and Holden Garlent notched a goal each.
NEXT GAME:The Rush will head south to take on the San Diego Seals on December 9th at Pechanga Arena with a 9:00 p.m. CST start time.
