Rush Looking For Fashion Help
February 19, 2008 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Chicago Rush News Release
After seven seasons of wearing the same uniforms, the Chicago Rush is preparing to unveil a third jersey.
Chicago's latest jersey will be black with silver trim and will make its debut as part of the team's nationally televised game against Los Angeles on Monday, May 19.
However, the club is in desperate need of some fashion assistance as team officials are unsure of how to complete the look.
"As my wife can attest, I really am lacking when it comes to matters of fashion," said Mike Polisky, Rush president and general manager. "Therefore, we think it is only appropriate to let our fans have some input in the new look."
Should the team wear matching black pants with the black jersey or opt for silver pants? And should the team wear black helmets or silver helmets?
Fans wishing to help the Rush choose which look to wear against Los Angeles should visit the team's Web site, www.chicagorush.com, and vote for which helmet/pants combination should go with the new black jersey:
Black helmet, black pants
Black helmet, silver pants
Silver helmet, silver pants
Silver helmet, black pants
Fan voting will run through Tuesday, March 4, and the Rush will unveil the winning combination when it takes the field against Los Angeles in front of a national TV audience on ESPN2.
