Orlando Predators News Release

Orlando - The Orlando Predators are holding their annual season ticket holder pick up party this Saturday, February 23rd, and are asking fans to bring a book for a child.

We have teamed up with The Orlando Breakfast Rotary Club to help collect books for Orange Center Elementary School, one of the poorest in Orange County. The books are part of the Birthday Book program through the Rotary Club for Orange Center. Each student at the school gets to pick a book on their birthday as a present.

"One of the goals of our foundation this year is to emphasize education and this seems like a natural place for us to start," said team director of communications Denise Cullen.

Fans will also get to see the team practice, meet Doc (our announcer) from K92FM and the station will have their prize van out broadcasting live from the party. There will also be free food and prizes. Everyone who brings a book will be entered into a drawing for a free "Predators Fan Basket".

The party runs from 9 a.m. to noon at Thunder Field, the Predators practice field adjacent to The Citrus Bowl. We look forward to seeing you there!
