Rush Help Collect Over 20,000 Diapers for Dear Ones Daycare

(Rapid City, SD) - On Thursday, Rapid City Rush players lent a helping hand in assisting Black Hills Community bank collect diapers for Dear ones Daycare. Black Hills Community Bank and the Rush were able to surpass the goal of 20,000 diapers for the daycare facility. Rush players and Nugget spent the day taking pictures and signing autographs while accepting both diapers and monetary donations for the cause.
"Black Hills Community Bank appreciates the commitment of the Rapid City Rush to help the bank in our diaper drive efforts," said bank president and CEO Jack Lynass. "Daniel Nieves and players from the Rush Team, along with Nugget, took their personal time to have pictures taken with diaper donors. The players shook hands, visited and autographed pictures during a meet and greet session at the bank. Due to the combined efforts of the bank and the Rush, over 22,000 diapers were collected. Both the Bank and the Rush are committed to this community."
Black Hills Community Bank held a Diaper Drive in the month of June to collect diapers from the public to benefit Dear Ones. Dear Ones Daycare provides daycare for working parents who could otherwise not afford to daycare while working. Over 22,000 diapers were collected.
