
Rush Acquire Dan Dawson from Knighthawks

Saskatoon SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have acquired Dan Dawson from the Rochester Knighthawks in exchange for a second round selection in the 2018 Entry Draft and a third round selection in the 2020 Entry Draft.
Dawson, 36, is currently in his 17th National Lacrosse League season. He is fourth all-time in NLL history in assists (802), and fifth in goals (469) and points (1,271). In 8 games this season, Dawson has collected 9 goals and 17 assists, for 26 points with the Knighthawks.
Standing at 6' 5", 218 lbs., Dawson is a big body with a right-handed shot. A native of Oakville ON, he is a legend in the Lacrosse community. Dawson currently holds the NLL Ironman streak by playing in 234 straight games (3/9/02 to 12/29/16).
