Real Salt Lake News Release

SANDY, Utah (Wednesday, July 18, 2012) - Real Salt Lake announced Wednesday that the RSL Reserves (1-4-1; 4 points) will host the Houston Dynamo Reserves (4-1-1; 13 points) on Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. MT at America First Field. RSL's reserves were originally scheduled to host Houston's second-team on July 10, but the Dynamo experienced complications while traveling to Salt Lake City and the match had to be postponed.

Fans that cannot make it out to America First Field for the match can follow the proceedings live on Twitter @RealSaltLake.

The RSL Reserves captured its first win of the 10-game 2012 MLS Reserve League season on June 12, defeating the Chicago Fire Reserves (2-4-0; 6 pts.) 2-1. An impressive crowd lined the south sideline of America First Field as MF Ned Grabavoy converted a penalty kick in the 78th minute and MF Sebastian Velasquez sealed the victory with a goal in the 92nd minute.

The RSL Reserves have had a very unbalanced schedule in 2012, playing five games in the first seven weeks of the season before waiting two months to face Chicago. The reserves will go 54 days between the Chicago game and their next match, an Aug. 5 battle against the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
