RSL Hopes to Crank Unbeaten Streak in League Play to 11 against FCD

Real Salt Lake News Release

SANDY, Utah (Friday, July 16, 2010) - Real Salt Lake (9-3-3, 30 pts.) will look to take the full six points from its mini two-game road swing this Saturday, July 17, when the Utah side will attempt to follow up last Thursday's victory at Chicago with a similar result against FC Dallas (5-2-7, 22 pts.). Kickoff from Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX, is slated for 6:30 p.m. MT for a match that will air live on KUSG 2.2 / Comcast 111 and be wrapped up with the America First Credit Union Post-match Report following the final whistle. RSL fans can also follow the action live by tuning into the defending MLS Cup champion's official radio partners - ESPN 700 (English), ESPN Deportes 1600-AM and Homero 106.1-FM (Spanish) - or by checking into RSL's Official Twitter feed, located at www.Twitter.com/RealSaltLake.

Something will have to give when Real Salt Lake brings its club-record 10-match unbeaten streak (8-0-2) to "Big D," where the Claret-and-Cobalt have dropped all seven contests since entering the League in 2005, all but one of those games being contested at Pizza Hut Park. Real Salt Lake will bring another lofty run in tow to Frisco, a 498-minute shutout streak that is now the fourth longest in League history. RSL's 0-7-0 road mark against FCD is the main reason why the Utahns are just 5-10-1 against the "Hoops" all-time, a series that last year included RSL's 4-2 "Pioneer Day Comeback" triumph at Rio Tinto Stadium on July 24 and a 0-3 loss in the return match in Frisco on Sept. 26.
