Royals' Playoff Tickets on Sale Monday

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are excited to announce that single game tickets for the 2013 WHL Playoffs will go on sale this Monday, March 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the Select Your Tickets box office located at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, online at www.selectyourtickets.com or over the phone at 250-220-7777.

Fans can pre-buy their playoff tickets as individual tickets will be available for purchase at this Sunday's home game against the Portland Winterhawks starting at the beginning of the first intermission at the Select Your Tickets windows inside the concourse (located across from Guest Services). Fans that wish to take advantage of this pre-buy opportunity are encouraged to get their tickets for Sunday's contest early as the game is nearing a sell-out.

The Royals' playoff game dates, opponents and start times are all to be determined. Only tickets to the first two home games of the playoffs will be made available at this time.

Victoria currently sits alone in sixth place in the WHL's Western Conference with 71 points. The top eight teams in the conference qualify for the playoffs, which begin on Friday, March 22.

Victoria's season ticket holders and the general public can still purchase playoff ticket packages that guarantee their same regular season seat for all playoff games at a discounted rate. Fans can secure their seat for the Victoria Royals' entire playoff run for a deposit of $75 per seat. Season ticket holders who have already purchased their playoff packages will be able to pick up their tickets beginning at Tuesday's game against the Portland Winterhawks.

The release coincides with another edition of Money Mart Mad Monday, where a limited amount of $5 tickets to the Royals' final two regular season home games of the year will be available on Monday, March 11. Money Mart Mad Monday tickets are limited to four per transaction and are available at the Select Your Tickets Box Office beginning at 9:30 a.m. in person only. Puck drop for both the Tuesday, March 12 and Friday, March 15 games is set for 7:05 p.m.
