
Royals Make Seven Roster Moves

SURPRISE, AZ (March 18, 2013) - The Kansas City Royals prior to tonight's spring contest against the Texas Rangers, made seven roster moves. Following the moves, the Royals have 44 active players in Major League camp.
Left-handed pitchers Everett Teaford and Will Smith along with right-hander Nate Adcock were optioned to Triple-A Omaha. In addition, right-handed pitchers Blaine Boyer, Michael Mariot, Brian Sanches and Yordano Ventura were assigned to minor league camp.
