DANVILLE, VA - The rain came as quickly as it left, sweeping over American Legion Post 325 Field in Dan Daniel Memorial Park right as the first inning got under way. The game for July 23rd against Burlington has been postponed until August 13.

The double header will start at five; the first game will make up for the rain out tonight and will go the full nine innings. The second game will be a seven inning contest, and is set to start approximately 20 minutes after the first game.

The Danville Braves (18-13) will hit the road for Burlington (14-17) in the last of a three game series with the Royals tomorrow night, with the first pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Burlington Athletic Stadium.
