
Royals bolster ticket office with four new hires

OMAHA - The Omaha Royals have bolstered their ticket office with the recent hiring of four new employees. Paul Hammes and Adam Kelly join the club as Group Sales Executives, Andrea Stava is Group Sales Manager and Bill Scieszinski is the Ticket Office Assistant.
For the past year, Hammes was a sales representative with InfoUSA in Omaha. However, 2007 will be his third season in Minor League baseball. He served as the Assistant Director of Concessions for the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays in 2005, after interning with the Battle Creek Yankees in 2004. Hammes graduated from the University of Missouri in 2004 with a B.A. degree in History. He played college baseball for two years at Concordia St. Paul University in Minnesota prior to transferring to Missouri.
Kelly joins the Royals following a marketing internship with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League and the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets of the United States Hockey League, both located in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to his work in hockey, he managed a golf shop at Oxmoor Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Kelly graduated from the University of Louisville in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Administration. He previously earned a B.S. degree in Geography from Western Kentucky University.
Stava begins her first full season with the Royals, after serving in the team's apprentice program in 2006. She graduated from Wayne State College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. While attending Wayne State, the Rising City, Nebraska native was President of Intramurals and a member of the Sports Club.
Scieszinski graduated from Iowa State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Business and Journalism. The Albia, Iowa native moved to Council Bluffs immediately after graduation to begin his professional career with the Royals.
The Royals 2007 home opener is Friday, April 13th at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Albuquerque Isotopes. Season tickets, mini-plans and other ticket packages for the team's 2007 season are currently on sale, with single-game tickets to go on sale at a later date to be announced.
