The Brockton Rox and Worcester Tornadoes were rained out on Friday night at Campanelli Stadium due to unplayable field conditions following torrential rains during the day. The teams will play a double header on Saturday night beginning at 5:05 PM - each game will be 7 Innings.
Game one starters currently scheduled will have Worcester LHP Tom Cochran (12-1, 2.16 ERA) pitching against Rox RHP Rony Mercado. Game two will feature Worcester RHP Shaun McNamara (2-9, 6.40 ERA) against Rox RHP Mike Smith (0-0, 6.23 ERA). The second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the first.
Gates will open Saturday at 4PM with the first pitch scheduled for 5:05PM presented by Network Health. Tickets for tonight's game are valid for both games. Fans who have tickets from Friday night's game can exchange those tickets out for tonight's games or any other game left this season, based on availability, at the Rox Ticket Office.
