Brockton, MA (August 29, 2008) - With a 2-2 tie in the middle of the 12th inning on Friday night at Campanelli Stadium, the game between the Brockton Rox and New Jersey Jackals was suspended until Saturday night.

The Rox and Jackals will resume play on Saturday at the regularly scheduled start time of Saturday's game, at 6:05 PM.

The first eleven and half innings were played to a 2-2 draw with each pitching staff coming up with big outs, and each offense missing out on opportunities. After Brockton scored a run in the first inning and another in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead, New Jersey scored twice in the fifth to tie the game. The teams combined to strand seven runners in scoring position through the top of the 12th inning.

The pitcher of record for the Rox is RHP Keith Noe who had just completed his second inning of relief. The Rox will bat in the bottom of the 12th inning when the game resumes.
