Weekly Rewind

Friday, Feb. 5 - PENGUINS 4 at Springfield 3 OT

In his season debut with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Anton Zlobin earned an assist 20 seconds into the game and scored 28 seconds into the third period. Carter Rowney had three points in the contest, including the OT game-winner.

Saturday, Feb. 6 - PENGUINS 2 vs Bridgeport 3

Rowney attempted to lead a second half rally for the Penguins by scoring twice, but Bridgeport ultimately denied them the tying goal. Will O'Neill assisted on both of Rowney's goals, and Zlobin recorded one helper.

Tuesday, Feb. 9 - PENGUINS 4 at Utica 3 OT

Derek Army scored his first two goals in a Penguins uniform, and Rowney ended yet another game in overtime.

The Week Ahead

Friday, Feb. 12 - PENGUINS at Hartford

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton heads to XL Center for the final match-up of the season with Hartford. The Penguins hold a narrow 3-2-0-0 edge in the season series. The Wolf Pack are 12-2-0-0 in their last 12 games.

Saturday, Feb. 13 - PENGUINS vs. Portland

The Penguins and Pirates get set for a back-to-back series at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. The two teams split a back-to-back in Portland in their only meetings this season, but the Pens outscored the Pirates, 6-2.

Sunday, Feb. 14 - PENGUINS vs. Portland

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is 10-5-0-0 in the second game of back-to-backs. Since the Penguins snapped Pirates goalie Mike McKenna's franchise record 13-game win streak, he has gone 2-2-0-0 with a no decision and has a .892 save percentage in his last three net appearances.

Ice Chips

- Last Friday, Anton Zlobin played in his first game for the Penguins since Oct. 31, 2014 and scored his first regular season goal with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton since Mar. 3, 2014.

- Six points in a three-game stretch is the most of Carter Rowney's AHL career.

- Will O'Neill has 14 points (2G-12A) in his last 14 games and factored in on a third of the Pens' total goals in that time.

- The Penguins are now 8-2-0-0 in their first game out of the All-Star break over the past 10 seasons.

- Derek Army's two-goal output on Tuesday was his first in the AHL, and first since two goals for Wheeling on Jan. 16, 2015.
