
Rowdy Returns to the Ice

TROY, NY-- Well known in the Capital Region for being the River Rats mascot during their tenure in Albany, Rowdy was then adopted into the Tri-City ValleyCats mascot family. He spent his summer entertaining the fans at "The Joe" alongside SouthPaw, and will now be a part of the "ValleyCats Mascots On Ice" at the RPI Hockey game in Troy on Friday night.
At the end of the second period, mascots will take center stage on the Houston Field House ice and treat the fans to an entertaining three minute skit. Mascots scheduled to attend include SouthPaw, Rowdy, Tri-City Hall Mayors Harry Tutunjian, Jerry Jennings and Brian Stratton, and of course the RPI Puckman.
The ValleyCats will have a table set up during the game featuring their New York-Penn League Championship trophy, a prize wheel and a sign-up to win an authentic ValleyCats championship ring.
The Engineers(15-6-3), ranked 10th in the nation, will host Brown(7-8-4) and faceoff is scheduled for 7p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Houston Field House Box Office or charge by phone by calling 518-276-6262.
