
Round Rock Express Series Preview vs. Memphis Redbirds

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express returns to action after the Triple-A All-Star break this weekend, hosting the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals) for a four-game series at The Dell Diamond. The series begins Thursday with a 7:05 p.m. CDT first pitch and continues Friday at 7:05 p.m., Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday at 7:05 p.m.
It will be a busy weekend at The Dell Diamond with sundry on- and off-field happenings. Three Texas Rangers pitchers - Neftali Feliz, Alexi Ogando and Koji Uehara - will begin rehabilitation assignments with the Express. Ogando is scheduled to pitch Thursday and Saturday, Uehara is scheduled to pitch Saturday, and Feliz is scheduled to pitch Sunday.
Saturday's game is an early start due to the third installment of the St. David's Round Rock Express Summer Concert Series presented by Dell. Austin-based rock cover band LC Rocks will take The Dell Diamond stage approximately 15 minutes after the conclusion of Saturday's game.
The series begins with the Original Thirsty Thursday with discounted beer and soda prices, presented by Firetrol Protection Systems. The series continues with Bud Light Friday Fireworks and concludes with Sunday's H-E-B Kids Day with a pregame carnival and postgame base-running for all kids age 12 and under.
